Golf Lessons with Mike B. Olsen
We are thrilled to welcome back Mike Olsen this season to offer both private and group golf lessons to our members and guests, as well as to run our Junior Golf Program. Mike will be available on the range and on the course to provide his expert services to anyone looking to improve their game.
A Message from Mike
Hello! My name is Mike Olsen. In 2011, I graduated from the Holland College Golf Management Program and am a member of the Canadian Golf Teachers Federation. I am in my 8th year offering my services as a golf instructor at Eagle Crest.
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve heard many of my students say they have taken the odd golf lesson only to become frustrated and discouraged by their progress. There will always be aspects of our game that could improve. My strategy is to focus on what is working, as opposed to what isn’t. You could spend your whole life searching for that “perfect swing,” but it simply doesn’t exist. My approach is to identify areas that can be improved on with simple methods, simple strategies, and understandable concepts.

A large portion of my students are or were brand new to the game when they came to me. Let me make this easy for you.
The Gear
Brand new milled irons that you need help figuring out? Or just dusted off the clubs you found in the attic that have electrical tape for grips? Maybe you have no gear at all. No problem. I can help with whatever equipment you have or need.
The Facility
Our top-notch facility includes a multi-tiered driving range, putting and chipping green, state-of-the-art TrackMan indoor simulator, a clubhouse with all the amenities, and a club fitting and repair room. I’ve got what you’re looking for to improve your game.
